Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA) Training Courses

TACG offers LOSA training and program implementation for airline, business aviation/charter, helicopter, cabin, ramp, maintenance, and military operations

A Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA) is a formal process that requires expert and highly trained observers to observe operations in real-time and to collect safety-related data on environmental conditions, operational complexity, and human performance. LOSA observer training is critical to the process.

LOSA is seen as an important way to help develop countermeasures to operational errors. It involves a structured program of observation of front line activities built around the Threat and Error Management (TEM) concept. It aims to identify threats to operational safety, identify and minimize the risks which are the origin of such threats, and implement measures to manage the human error aspects of the residual risk. LOSA provides a way to assess the level of organizational resilience to systemic threats in accordance with the principles of a data-driven approach (Source: www.skybrary.aero).

TACG offers LOSA training and program implementation to a wide variety of aviation organizations. Our LOSA services are scalable to organization size. Whether you just need a LOSA course, or a full implementation package (where we do most of the work), our fees are very affordable.
